Catarina Soares

Catarina was born and raised in Brazil and relocated to the US in 2001 with her husband, Flavio, where she pursued her post Graduate degree from Harvard University in Strategic Management. Inspired by a family history in business, she joined Fleet Bank, where she developed personal and mortgage banking skills. While her husband was a professor at the University of Florida Pediatric Dental School, Catarina, inspired by knowledge from the mortgage industry, pursued her Masters in Real Estate. Earning her degree with the highest honors and winning the Capstone project, Catarina, joined Florida Capital Bank providing commercial and personal lending services. Choosing Jacksonville as their permanent home in 2010, Catarina’s husband joined Setzer, Cochran, and Soares, P.A. as a pediatric dentist. Catarina and her family take great pride in being active members of the community. Catarina also enjoys tennis, boating, attending the Jacksonville Jaguars and Gator football games, visiting the beach, as well as fashion.  Catarina loves raising her two children in Jacksonville and watching them participate in tennis, soccer, dance, and football. Highly organized, with her knowledge from her banking and commercial lending experience, as well as applying her coveted Master’s degree in Real Estate, Catarina is equipped to provide impeccable service to her customers.
